Who We Are:

ASMINTI is a matriarchal Indigenous Nation rooted in family, clan, and community, with a presence on Turtle Island that goes back to time immemorial.

We are a group of both adopted Indigenous volunteer members and original Metis people, working together to uphold our traditions, our unceded land, languages, and customs. We began with our retired Grand Chief to raise the awareness of his Anishinaabe people. We now continue with our Sr. Elder Grand Chief to further the journey.

(Unceded: means Lands which, ‘have not been ceded to or purchased by the colonialists, are still reserved to the said Indians’ – the Royal Proclamation 1763.)

Asminofturtleisland (ASMINTI) is also a cultural preservation freedom organization committed to protecting and promoting the rich heritage of Turtle Island.
- Our Council and team of experts work tirelessly to preserve our rights, our unconquered lands, preserve our traditions, languages, and customs of indigenous communities across North, Central and South America and the Caribbean.
- We believe that cultural diversity is a source of strength and that by our heritage, we can build a brighter future for all.

- We believe that helping our children, saving them from the corrupt ideologies and mind-set, physical, psychological and sexual abuses, exploitation and violence is our duty to save the world.

Our Nation

Cultural Heritage Advocacy- Nation

Asminofturtleisland is dedicated to preserving the rich cultural heritage of Indigenous communities. We strive to empower voices, promote traditions, and foster understanding.

Are we a nation?

Yes, ABSOLUTELY, we are a collective committed to safeguarding our history and identity for future generations.

As this definition states:

“The word "nation" refers to a group of people who share a history, traditions, culture and, often, language—even if the group does not have a country of its own.”

The UN-surrendered Metis have always had their own country before it was taken from them by the imperialists in the 16th century. (see history profile on askit4equity.com).

Community Growth

It is our time as indicated in the 8th Fire Prophecy.

Our grandmothers are speaking!

Come and learn about the New Models being developed for a freer, participatory, healthier Community.

The awakened un-surrendered, un-treatied, non-status Indigenous are now gathering from across the Turtle Island nation to repossess what was rightfully theirs all along so that they can live in unity, truth, freedom and justice with the true Laws of Great Spirit.

This entails recovering their lands (not to take them from the people rightfully living on them-but to have full freedom of speech & movement, integrity, love, safety, respect on their own unceded lands); also, to regain their resources and to live in peace and harmony on Mother Earth (Gaia) amongst all good-willing, honourable people.
